Hollman, Master Benjamin

We have just brought to light another batch of prodigies—heretofore we have had infant drummers, infant fiddlers, infant eminent tragedians, infant comedians, etc. but we now have an infant opera troupe, called the “Hollman family.”  Comprising little Julia, ‘only four years old, and the smallest vocalist and pianist in the world;” “Miss Saibe [Sally/Sadie/], six years old, the wonderful contralto,” Master Alfred, 10 years old, “the great American vocalist and drummer;” Master Benjamin, 12 years old, tenor; Master John, 11 years, comic and eccentric.  There is nothing said about the “basso-profundo,” of this juvenile opera company.  This company is now on exhibition at Barnum’s Museum, the head quarters of all monstrosities and novelties.
