Although Miss Davenport has never as yet appeared in Southern California, her name and fame as an actress of the highest rank is well known. From all that is said, all the genius of her lamented father, E.L Davenport seems to have fallen as a mantel about the shoulders of his talented and famous daughter, and that she wears his bequest bravely and well has been proven by the unanimous voice and acclaim of the press and public of America and England. Miss Davenport has from her earliest infancy been schooled to the severest and highest lines of classic art.
