The beautiful and thrilling drama “Fanchon, the Cricket,” was presented. Miss Lula Walker was Fanchon and in this conversation we will say for one of her age, we have never seen anyone excel her. We can only liken her performance to that of little Bijou Heron, who created such a furor in New York, shortly after her gifted and unfortunate mother’s death. Her appearance in every act, brought encores from the whole audience.
