COMPOSER STOEPEL DEAD.
Author of Many Operas, and for a Long Time Leader at Daly’s Theatre.
During his stay at Wallackâs Mr. Stoepel married Matilde Heron, who was acknowledged to be the greatest Camille. The actress known as Bijou Heron is their daughter. Stoepel and his wife separated on account of incompatibility of temper.
While in London Mr. Stoepel educated and brought out Bijou Heron, whose mother was then dead.
