St. Clair, Sallie

DEATH OF SALLIE ST. CLAIR—The telegraph yesterday announced the death of Sallie St. Clair, the wife of Charles M. Barras, author of the “Black Crook.” It was announced and expected that Mr. Barras would superintend the production of his great sensation in this city, but he was recalled by the intelligence of the sickness of his wife, and barely reached home in time to see her die.
