I’m a recent convert to Twitter and am thoroughly enjoying meeting new scholars working in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and reading about their work. It’s inspiring to see so many archive-bound, history loving scholars out there. And after some reflection, I’ve decided that I’d like to try something different next year – I’m going to try to tweet about a different C19 child performer each day. I’m a little nervous about overcommitting myself as I know there are often times when life intervenes – but I figure that if I can get myself organized (and thankfully I have an amazing group of research assistants to help with this), then I’ll be in a good position to tweet a little something every day about this project.

We’ll see. Could be fun…
